- Click on each picture for a full-size screen shot.
Click "Connections" tab at the top of the screen to get to the
Connections screen. PBXpress support two types of Connections: PSTN and
VoIP. PBXpress is not tied to any particular SIP provider and you can
enter as many Connections as you wish:

Create a PSTN Connection for each Central Office connected port.
Enable outgoing calls and enter E.164 prefixes that available free of
charge in your area. It is very important that you include "911".
You may want to enable the use of a PSTN line as a backup for all
other prefixes if the IP network shall become unavailable. On this screen, you
can also teach the system how to handle incoming calls.

A PSTN Connection has been created. Once the phone line is
connected, you will see the green status indicator:

In order to create a VoIP connection, you must obtain the following
information from your SIP provider:
- SIP Proxy host name or IP address
- Account ID
- Password
If you have DID service, you must specify how to connect incoming
calls:

A VoIP Connection has been created, and PSTN line connected. The
status indicators will be shown as pictured:

connection:
