PBXpress - Configuration

Make a note of the PBXpress IP address that appears on the LCD display when you switch the unit on. You will use this IP address to configure PBXpress from a LAN connected PC:

On the LAN connected PC, point your Internet browser to the IP address of PBXpress. You will see the PBXpress log in screen. The factory settings use "admin" as the user name and password:

After you have logged in the default PBXpress status screen will be displayed:

If you are connected to a WAN select the WAN configuration screen using the button. Select either static or DHCP IP addresses:

Select the LAN configuration screen. Configure the DHCP settings:

Go to the TIME screen and select your time zone:

Go to the ADMIN screen. Modify your administrator login username and password:

Go to the RECORDING screen. Adjust the call recording properties as required by your company:

On the RECORDING screen, you may upload a custom recording notification in addition to the pre-defined notifications already available with PBXpress:

The uploaded recording notification now appears on the list of available prompts:
