Types and Uses of Personal Information

PBXpress Communications, Inc. respects your privacy. Any business-related or personal information you provide to us, including your name and similar identifying information, such as your address, telephone number, and e-mail address, will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of PBXpress Communications, Inc., except as necessary to provide services or products you specifically request.

PBXpress Communications, Inc. does NOT collect or transmit ANY information about your PBXpress IP PBX accounts, such as your user IDs, passwords, or call information.

Security Measures

We protect the personal information you share with us. If you make an online purchase with us, we will NOT transmit your order information or credit card number over the Internet connection. Access to your personal information is limited to people who need it to do their job, e.g.

• your name, your company name, and your mailing address are used exclusively to ship your order;
• your e-mail address is used exclusively to inquire you regarding your order, notify you about the status or your order, and provide you critical information about security and available software updates for the PBXpress you have ordered;
• your credit card information is used exclusively for the PBXpress order transaction for which you explicitly authorize us in writing - by mail or fax, in which case your authorized signature is required.

Authorized third-party agents may also need access to some of your personal information. For example,  we must share your name and address with a shipping company to ship you your PBXpress order. We only provide third-party agents with the minimum amount of information needed to complete the requested service or transaction. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third-parties, unless you have granted us permission to do so.

We may respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process. We also may choose to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We may collect and possibly share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of PBXpress' terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
