PBXpress Warranty, Return and Replacement Policy
Warranty Information
- If you order the LCD + CD combo
We provide a 30-day warranty on LCD
+ CD combo. All LCD displays are 100% tested at the factory. These
displays are sensitive electronic components, and must be handled
with care, especially concerning damage by ESD (electrostatic
discharge). Any returned merchandise must be accompanied by an RMA
(return material authorization) number. Please
contact us
to obtain an RMA.
Functional Defects - PBXpress
shall replace any LCD that is found to be functionally defective, for
a period of 30 days from the date of shipment. Please refer
to "Replacement
of Malfunctioning Devices" section for information on obtaining a
replacement unit.
Cosmetic or Visual Defects -
Cosmetic or visual defects must be reported and returned to PBXpress
within 30 days of shipment. Please refer to
"Replacement
of Malfunctioning Devices" section for information on obtaining a
replacement unit.
Warranty shall be void under the
following conditions:
- signs of undue mechanical
stress forced on the module
- broken LCD glass
- damaged LCD polarizer
- PCB eyelets damaged
- PCB conductors damaged
- circuit modified in any way,
including addition or removal of components
- PCB tampered by grinding,
engraving, drilling or application of coatings of any kind
soldering to the bezel or modifying the bezel in any way.
The liability of PBXpress is
limited to replacement or repair of the defective items on the terms
set forth and shall not be responsible for any subsequent or
consequential events.

and no refund or replacement will be granted after inspection.
- If you order an assembled PBXpress unit
PBXpress warrants assembled units to be in good working condition and
free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1)
year. Please refer to "Replacement
of Malfunctioning Devices" section for information on obtaining
warranty service.

note: modifying or damaging a product in any way VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES
and no refund or replacement will be granted after inspection.
Return Information
Any item purchased can be returned for a refund within 30 days of
the original shipment date. PBXpress will not accept returns of
non-defective merchandise beyond 30 days. Purchaser is responsible for
all shipping fees. Refunds are issued on purchase price only.
To obtain a Return Authorization, please
contact us
specifying that you would like to return an item. Include the
specific item you would like to return, the serial number, and the
order number for the item.
Because a returned item can no longer be considered a new item,
all returned items are subject to a 15 percent restocking fee.
We must receive the returned item within 45 days of original
shipment. Damaged (physically or cosmetically) or abused items will not
be accepted or refunded. All returned items will be inspected and
tested before a refund is issued. We reserve the right to refuse to
accept any return, which, at our discretion, has excessive damage.
Replacement of Malfunctioning
Devices
We will exchange items purchased from us that are malfunctioning and
still under the manufacturer's warranty. If you suspect your item is
not functioning correctly, you must first
contact
us with a description of the problem, the order number, and the
unit's serial number.
Under no circumstances will the PBXpress accept a return of a
hardware product we have sold because the purchaser is not satisfied in
some way with any promotion accompanying the device. The PBXpress sells
hardware and any service promotion included with such hardware is
provided as a free-of-charge gift to our customers.
If our support staff determines that a hardware problem can only be
fixed by replacing a faulty unit, we will then issue an RMA.
Please be advised that, in most cases, we will ask that only the
faulty unit (and not any additional items that may have come with the
unit) be returned. For example, if it is determined that a telephone
adaptor purchased from PBXpress must be returned, we may ask you to
ship to us only the adaptor, and not the power plug, other cables, or
documentation.
Purchaser has two options when returning a malfunctioning item:
Option 1 SWAP: The item may be returned to the
address provided by our support team, with the RMA number clearly
listed outside the packaging and, in some form, inside the shipping
package. Upon inspection, a replacement item will be sent to the
purchaser.
Option 2 INSTANT: The purchaser may buy the
identical item from PBXpress, and include the issued RMA in the
comments field on the web page when making a purchase. We will ship the
item within one business day, using ground shipping only, unless the
purchaser pays for expedited shipping. The purchaser must return the
malfunctioning item to the address provided by our support team, with
the RMA number clearly listed outside the packaging and, in some form,
inside the shipping package, within 15 days. Upon inspection, the
purchaser will be reimbursed the full price of the replacement
purchase.
Please note that, under no circumstances, will the PBXpress
reimburse international shipping charges, nor domestic shipping charges
other than Standard "Ground" shipping.
Also note that the PBXpress will not accept
return packages or process refund requests that do not comply with the
RMA procedures detailed above. |
